Disney has given fans a preview of the Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser:
Disney’s Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser, which is currently being built in Bay Lake in Florida is the first hotel of its kind to be built. Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser is an interactive attraction and hotel in one. As part of the new experience guests will spend two nights on the star cruiser.
When guests check into their experience they’ll enter a launch pod which will simulate the experience of being launched into space to dock to the star cruiser itself. During each individual’s personal adventure they’ll get to role-play with costumed staff members and other guests in order to follow their experience. As an example guests may participate in secret meetings in the engineering room.
If you’re a hard core Star Wars fan who always wished that they could live in the Star Wars universe it’s well worth booking a two night experience on the Star Wars: Galatic Starcruiser when it officially opens. However keep in mind that the hotel’s grand opening may be delayed by the international Covid19 pandemic and the restrictions which it continues to impose.
Israel plans to welcome guests back to their nation this summer:
Israel’s government have recently announced their ambitious plans to welcome tourists back to Israel this summer. A move which many see as unlikely due to the fact that due to increased domestic coronavirus cases, Israel also made the decision to ban all international flights. A move which was made after 900 Israeli nationals who recently visited Dubai in December were diagnosed with Covid19.
Dubai suffers a spike in Coronavirus cases:
One of the reasons why Dubai has experienced a spike of Coronavirus cases in the last week is as a result of having a relatively open border in December and inviting nationals of many countries such as the UK, to visit Dubai without needing to quarantine. Due to Dubai’s lax border policies the number of individuals in Dubai who have tested positive for Covid19 has skyrocketed. Which shows other countries who think that they have Covid19 under control of the real risk of opening their borders up to international tourists too quickly.
Covid-19 passports will soon be required to travel to many countries:
In the coming months its expected that most countries will require individuals to have a recent Covid19 injection in order to travel to their countries. A move that follow the decision of Saga Cruises to require passengers to have a Covid19 injection in order to book a cruise. However there is no guarantee that the current Covid19 injections will be effective against future strains of the Covid19 virus which is already mutating, so a Covid19 injection won’t guarantee that an individual will be able to travel freely in the second half of the year.
